This year, we were honored to see that passion recognized on a grand scale at the 2024 Antonian Awards, sponsored by ILEA (International Live Events Association), the premier awards event celebrating event industry excellence. Sweeping every wedding category and walking away with four awards was nothing short of exhilarating—and a testament to the creativity, dedication, and collaboration that define our work.

The Antonian Awards spotlight the best in the industry, with winners selected for their innovation, execution, and ability to bring a vision to life. This year, VOLARE Planning & Design was thrilled to be recognized in the following categories:
Best Wedding Over 150K
American Dream
This event embodied the American Dream for our clients, representing the harmonious merging of two families in a cultural wedding weekend destined to be remembered for a lifetime. Every detail was meticulously planned and executed to perfection, creating an extraordinary South Asian fusion wedding. The design and planning process left no stone unturned, ensuring a seamless blend of traditions and modern elegance to be cherished for a lifetime.
Best Wedding 75-150K
Black & White and Vogue All Over
High fashion met the elegance of Vogue Weddings – Every detail was meticulously curated to create a fashion-forward, timeless, classic celebration. From custom-made Vogue magazines to the bride’s trip to New York to say “Yes to the Dress” at Kleinfeld’s, every element was chosen with style in mind. The reception was a chic vision in black and white, featuring quality fabrics, luxurious furnishings, and intricate florals, with an elegant menu.

Best Wedding Under 75K
A Spanish Revival Wedding
This Spanish revival wedding celebrated our couple’s love and our city’s vibrant cultural richness. Handmade margaritas and Spanish fusion hors d’oeuvres; colorful florals and Mexican chinoiserie; a curated menu; and a rustic but elegant Spanish inspired interior design full of textures made this event stand out. Entertainment included a brilliant show band, brass horn filled conga lines, and nonstop dancing, resulting in an unforgettable party.

Best Marketing Collateral
Southern Bride Magazine & The Omni Barton Creek Hotel & Spa
Our marketing materials are a reflection of our brand: timeless, elegant, and filled with intentionality. We were honored to be selected as the sole wedding designer from the San Antonio area to compete in Southern Bride Magazine’s design challenge in Austin, Texas. Our participation aimed to secure outstanding marketing material for our business. We competed for and won the prestigious title of Best Overall Design. Additionally, we earned the Southern Socialite award (popular vote), Best Cake Design, and Best Stationery Flat Lay. Our work was featured in advertising campaigns for the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa.
