Erica and Eric wished for their wedding to be a fully immersive experience, ensuring every detail was intentional. Though their celebration was intended to be intimate, they spared no effort in crafting a meaningful atmosphere for their guests. Their vision was to seamlessly blend Eric’s rich Mexican heritage with Erica’s Dominican background, creating a wedding design that felt organic and cohesive.

With Erica’s deep appreciation for design, we collaborated with multiple rental companies to bring her dream wedding aesthetic to life. Illusions Rentals set the stage with striking blue Otomi-printed table linens that added vibrant pattern and personality, along with a custom tiled bar facade that became a stunning focal point. DeVinnie’s Floristy infused the space with lush, vivid floral arrangements that adorned every table, enhancing the overall ambiance with rich color and texture. A Styled Collection curated a thoughtfully designed lounge area, offering stylish and comfortable seating for guests to relax and mingle. To complete the look, Cat Haus Rentals and Designs provided an array of carefully selected tabletop décor, adding the final layers of detail and refinement to the design. Backstory Backdrops created a stunning welcome and seating display that incorporated the color palette. Every element worked in harmony to create a visually captivating and immersive wedding experience.

As passionate food lovers, the culinary experience was the heart of their wedding. They prioritized incorporating family recipes, ensuring that every bite carried a sense of home and tradition. True Flavors brought this vision to life by reimagining the bride’s mother’s cherished recipes, infusing them into memorable hors d’oeuvres: mini quiches and empanadas that carried the warmth of generations past. With desserts at the top of their priority list, Asukar curated a custom-designed dessert, pastry, and ice cream bar. At the heart of the display stood a stunning three-tier Dominican pineapple cake, featuring layers of vanilla and orange cake with pineapple compote and Italian meringue filling. Surrounding it were an array of decadent treats, including mini vanilla bean crème brûlée, caramel-stuffed brownies, salted caramel Dutch apple pie, and red berry tarts. To elevate the experience, a custom ice cream cart offered an indulgent selection of the couple’s favorite ice cream flavors.

Guest experience was a top priority at the wedding, with interactive elements and live entertainment taking center stage. Guests enjoyed live duo cello performances during pre-ceremony cocktail hour and the ceremony, which was followed by a live mariachi for the recessional and post-ceremony cocktail hour. The evening was hosted by a professional MC with a DJ assigned to spinning the couple’s favorite tunes. The wedding culminated in a spectacular La Hora Loca featuring a stilt walker, mirror man, and a batacha dancing duo.
