The day began in the Presidential Suite at La Cantera Resort & Spa, where Erin spent the morning surrounded by her closest family and friends. The atmosphere was joyful yet unhurried. Champagne was poured, laughter filled the suite, and hair and makeup unfolded at an easy, relaxed pace—setting a tone of warmth and intention for the celebration ahead.

For many guests traveling from the North, October in Texas still felt very much like summer. To ensure everyone remained comfortable, we thoughtfully incorporated elegant parasols to provide shade from the sun—an intentional detail that maintained the aesthetic while caring for the guest experience.

The architecture of The Calera provided generous natural shade as well, framed by its distinctive Southwestern-modern design. To complement the venue’s Alamo-inspired construction, we layered in curated signage, luxury linens, and carefully selected furnishings—each element chosen to enhance the space while elevating the overall design narrative.

As the celebration transitioned indoors, guests were welcomed into a romantic and modern interpretation of Erin’s favorite color: pink.
Soft yet striking, the palette transformed the ballroom into a space that felt both sophisticated and deeply personal. The ballroom at The Calera—long anticipated and finally revealed—proved every bit as breathtaking as imagined. Layers of texture, light, and floral design created an atmosphere that felt celebratory, elegant, and distinctly Erin.

One of the evening’s most heartfelt touches came in the form of an authentic Italian wedding cookie table—a beloved family tradition. Erin’s family transported hundreds of cookies all the way from Ohio and Pennsylvania, lovingly arranged into an abundant display of delicate confections.
