Marianna Fares and Nicholas Alfaro chose Marianna’s sentimental family home for their Mediterranean garden inspired wedding celebration. A color palette of grey, beige, metallic and blush neutrals created both a modern, yet romantic aesthetic. Marianna’s favorite flower, the Forget-Me-Not, was incorporated into the design plan through a custom logo created by the Girl General. A romantic flat lay collaboration with May Carlson Photography featured florals and Limoges china reminiscent of the adored flower as well.
Statue of Design created several floral focal points amongst the many oak trees on the property. Each and every oak had a design of its own and because it was Christmastime, a multitude of greenery were utilized to include Italian ruscus, eucalyptus, olive branches, berried evergreen, and mistletoe. The lush floral trees full of garden roses and white hydrangeas allowed for whimsical backdrops for bridal and couple portraits, as well as charming spaces for conversation and celebration. A similar lush garden aesthetic carried over into the the ceremony and reception landscape.
As day transitioned to evening, so did the ceremony to a delightful entertainment space. The custom dance floor, designed by the Girl General and constructed by Illusions Rentals & Designs, allowed for a memorable first dance and a center stage for the evening’s events.
It was an honor to work with Marianna and Nick, as well as their gracious families, to plan this exquisite wedding at their lovely home. This adorable couple, their families, and wedding will forever be in our hearts.
