Sarah Dutra and Kishan Singh found love in New York, but life brought them to Texas. And, instead of returning to New York for their nuptials, they decided to bring some big city style down south for their Indian fusion soirée at the Briscoe Western Art Museum. The chosen color palette consisted of various soft blush tones, white, black and gold. Floral selection was a main focus, as we wished for a modern, yet romantic aesthetic. White phalaenopsis orchids and open garden roses were a staple in the design plan. Champagne and crystal coupe stemware was another.
As Sarah prepared for the big day, she celebrated with all of her besties at the Westin San Antonio Riverwalk. Once the day party ended, it was time to meet her love on the hotel’s iconic, grand staircase for their first look.
Sarah and Kishan danced down the aisle after their I do’s. They were ready to celebrate and greet their guests, but first took time out to enjoy some sweet moments together as newlyweds.
The color palette continued over to the reception with soft blush tones, white, gold, and hints of black. Sarah chose a modern black flatware, which provided a modern twist to the romantic tablescape.
We created a one of a kind seating display for the wedding reception, which was accented by gold bud vases, lush greenery, ferns, and open garden roses.
After the first dance, Sarah and Kishan grabbed the mic to thank their guests for coming far and wide to celebrate with them. Then, they toasted their guests with a memorable Champagne tower pour. Then, they reveled in a memorable dining experience from Chef Nic and danced the night away with DJ Mike Kiss from New York.
After the party, the lovely couple made their grand exit underneath the twinkling string lights and a starlit sky, with a spectacular cold sparks display.
Thank you, Kishan and Sarah, for trusting us to design and plan your beautiful wedding. No matter where your love takes you next, we wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness together.
